UDMO Multi-County Board of Directors

The 18-member multi-county board of directors is responsible for policymaking and program governance in UDMO’s 12-county service area. The board structure meets the tripartite requirements, consisting of 1/3 public officials, at least 1/3 client representatives and the remainder composed of private sector representatives. Members are elected from the zone advisory boards outlined below. Four members are elected from each zone with two additional members elected at large.

Zone Advisory Boards

Zone Advisory Boards serve in an advisory capacity and identify community needs, recommend local programs and services, and provide guidance to the Board of Directors. The Zone Advisory Boards also serve as a mechanism for electing representatives to the Multi-County Board of Directors. UDMO’s 12 counties are divided geographically into four zones.
