Child Care Resource and Referral
Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) offers a variety of services to meet the needs of parents looking for child care, providers looking to start a child care business or keep up with DHS requirements, and communities looking to keep up with the needs of child care in thirteen counties.
Parents seeking child care may contact CCR&R for a list of available providers. CCR&R also educates parents so they can make informed and positive childcare choices.
CCR&R offers training, ongoing technical assistance and support to childcare providers. Well-trained staff assists in-home providers and center providers through registration and licensure processes. Other services available to the providers include: training totes, demonstrations on exciting, new educational activities for children and information on brain development, discipline and business practices. A registered nurse is also available for consultation. Finally, CCR&R maintains a Lending Library of useful childcare items.
