Some Programs and Services Offered Include:

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) - supplemental help for winter heating bills - November 1st through April 15th

LIHEAP Crisis Assistance - Assistance available in a life threatening situation for temporary shelter, fuel, blankets, heaters and furnace repair. Upon availability of funding, furnace repair or replacement is available to homeowners.

Weatherization - Assistance with stopping infiltration of cold air into a home. Can include caulking, weather stripping and attic insulation.

Chore Service and Home Repair- Funds household repairs and chores for income eligible applicants age 60 and older. Sponsored by Elderbridge Agency on Aging.

Emergency Vouchers - Provides eligible applicants with limited financial help for basic emergency needs.

Emergency Food Vouchers - Vouchers for local food pantries

Clothing Shop - Provides clothing and miscellaneous household items. Donations accepted.
- Baby's Room - Provides clothing and supplies for infants ages birth to two in partnership with St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
- Wheels to Work - Vehicles for qualified individuals who are working or attending school.
Program is offered based upon availability of donated vehicles. Partners include United Way of Greater Fort Dodge and Fort Dodge Ford.
- Wheels to Work Small Car Repair - Minor vehicle repairs for qualified individuals who are working or attending school.
- Safe Harbor - A temporary homeless shelter for men.
- Life Skills - Program providing supervision to 12 to 17 year old youth who are court-ordered to perform community service in Webster County. Partnership with the 2nd Judicial District.

Referral Services- Information on a wide variety of services available for those faced with situations they find difficult to solve.

Client Advocacy - Assistance when help is needed with providers, organizations or difficult situations.

Budget Counseling - Help for those experiencing difficulty managing their financial obligations.

Special Projects - Christmas program, Back to School Bash, coat drive, new hats and gloves, and more based on need and availability.
