Some Programs and Services Offered Include:

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) - supplemental help for winter heating bills - November 1st through April 30th.

LIHEAP Crisis Assistance - Assistance available in a life threatening situation for temporary shelter, fuel, blankets, heaters and furnace repair. Upon availability of funding, furnace repair or replacement is available to homeowners.

Weatherization - Assistance with stopping infiltration of cold air into a home. Can include caulking, weather stripping and attic insulation.

Chore Service - Funds household chores for income eligible applicants age 60 and older. Sponsored by Elderbridge Agency on Aging.

Emergency Vouchers - Provides eligible applicants with limited financial help for basic emergency needs.

Surplus Food Shelf- Emergency food allotment. Individuals will receive a referral to a food pantry in their community for additional assistance.
- Garden Program - Educates clients on proper growing of produce. Seeds, plants and gardening tools are also provided.

Farmer's Market Coupons- Provides coupons for use at Farmer's Market for income eligible applicants.

Referral Services- Information on a wide variety of services available for those faced with situations they find difficult to solve.

Client Advocacy - Assistance when help is needed with providers, organizations or difficult situations.

Budget Counseling - Help for those experiencing difficulty managing their financial obligations.
- Birthday Box - Provides a gift, cake and frosting for children 8 and under.
- Back to School - Provides school suppies for income elidgible children.
- Baby's Nook - Provides clothing and supplies for infants ages birth to two.
- Summer Pool Pass - Qualifying families can apply to receive financial assistance for Summer Pool Passes in Wright County

Special Projects - Coats for Kids, new hats and gloves, and more based on need and availability.
