• Recently we have been granted the School-based Dental Sealants money of $12,000 from Iowa Department of Public Health. With the combined efforts of the Early Smiles program and UDMO we hope to place sealants on 2 nd and 3 rd graders in our service area throughout the school year. We also were awarded additional funds for our I-Smile program. With these funds we plan to assist the school RNs to implement the new Dental Screening Mandate required for all schools in our service area.
